Using Variables in Template Configuration

When working with the templates, you have the option to choose a variable when defining parameters within a Template.

To use variables in template configuration

1. Navigate to Manager View | Home > Templates page.
2. Click the Ellipses icon in the ACTION column of the template you want to edit and click Edit Template.
3. Complete the fields as described in Defining or Editing a Template.

4. Click the Select a variable icon associated with the fields and do one of the following:

   

   • Add a New Variable Object. The process is similar to creating a variables on Manager View | Home > Global Objects > Variables page. For more information, refer to step 2 in Adding a Variable.

   • Select an existing Variable Object and click Select.
