Management Status

NSM manages a firewall. When a firewall acquisition is successful, firewall configuration is synchronized with NSM, and NSM can reach the firewall. For information about performing firewall acquisition, refer to Network Security Manager Getting Started Guide for On-Premises.

The Management Status tab is divided into two tabs:

  • MANAGEMENT STATUS
  • SYSTEM DETAILS

The MANAGEMENT STATUS gives information of the status of the device and device-management through NSM.

Paused - Whenever there is pending changes or pending Commits, auto-sync will be in Paused state. In this scenario, the auto synchronization will go to the pause state. As soon as the pending commits are cleared the NSM will go back to the enabled state automatically.
