Adding a Variable

You can also add a variable while configuring a template. For more information, refer to Using Variables in Template Configuration.

To add Variable Objects

  1. Navigate to Manager View | Home > Global Objects > Variables page.

  2. Click the Add Variable icon.

    1. Enter a unique Variable Name.
    2. Select the Variable Type from the drop-down menu, IPv4 address, IPv6 address, IPv4 octet, IPv6 Hextet, InterfaceText, MAC Address, and Cypher.

    3. Add Description.

    4. Click Save. The saved variables are displayed in the list.
