Configuring a Resource as a SharePoint Web Service

To configure a resource as a SharePoint Web Service

  1. In the AMC, navigate to Security Administration > Resources.

  2. Click click the + (New) icon.

  3. Select URL from the drop-down list.

    The Add Resource - URL page displays.

  4. Enter the Name and the URL for this resource.

  5. If this resource is on the external network, select the checkbox for This destination is on the external network.

  6. Scroll down to the Web Proxy Options section and expand it.

  7. From the Web application profile drop-down menu, select SharePoint.

  8. Select the Web service is Microsoft Sharepoint checkbox.

  9. Select Access this from resource using a custom FQDN.

  10. In the Custom FQDN field, enter the FQDN.
