SonicWall WAN Acceleration Appliance (WXA) Series

SonicWALL WXA 2000

SonicWALL WXA 2000

Make applications run faster at remote and branch offices. WXA 2000 integrates with select Dell firewalls to reduce latency and app traffic. Standalone products can’t keep up. Ready to go to support 120 users, 600 connections.

SonicWALL WXA 4000

SonicWALL WXA 4000

Streamline performance and boost user experience. When used with select Dell firewalls, WXA 4000 prioritizes and minimizes app traffic between sites. Easily deployed to support 240 users, 1,200 connections.

Significantly enhance WAN performance and user experience.

Eliminate performance bottlenecks from data- and file-sharing applications. By only transmitting new or changed data, SonicWall WAN Acceleration Appliance (WXA) solutions optimize the bandwidth you already have. When integrated with select SonicWall firewalls, WXA minimizes and prioritizes app traffic.

Faster application performance

Enable your wide area network (WAN) applications to run faster at remote and branch offices without adding more bandwidth, using the SonicWall WXA Series.

Data de-duplication

Cut down on duplicate information and reduce latency for peak network performance with data de-duplication, byte caching and file caching. After initial data transmission, you can limit subsequent traffic to only new or changed data.

Seamless integration with your next-generation firewall

You can seamlessly integrate the WXA Series with your SonicWall next-generation firewall. This lets you maximize security and WAN performance by scanning traffic before accelerating it across a virtual private network (VPN) or dedicated WAN link. You can also simplify the deployment, placement, routing, configuration, management and integration of WXA with other parts of your security solution.

Enhanced web-user experience

Increase browser response time while decreasing bandwidth consumption using HTTP (web) caching.

Optimized network efficiency

Give users LAN-like application performance over your WAN by decreasing latency and chattiness presented by inefficient protocols or application communication.

Flexible deployment options

The WXA Series is available as a hardware appliance, virtual appliance and software to help you select the format that best fits your organization’s WAN acceleration needs.
