Synchronizing a Firewall Configuration with Firewall Management

The management status of a firewall changes to Out of Syncstate when the firewall is locally modified. You need to synchronize firewall configuration with Firewall Management to set the device to In Sync state.

To synchronize a firewall configuration with Firewall Management

1. Navigate to Manager View | Home > Firewalls > Inventory page.
2. Click the Ellipses icon in the ACTION column for the firewall you want to synchronize the changes with Firewall Management, and select Synchronize Firewall.
3. In the Synchronize Firewall dialog, click Review Diff.
4. In the Device Synchronization wizard:

   1. Review the configuration differences between Firewall Management configuration and the local firewall configuration.

      

   2. Click Next.

   3. Review the pending commits.

      

   4. Click Synchronize.

   5. Click OK in the Warning dialog.

      Synchronization process runs.

   6. Click Close.

The firewall is now managed by Firewall Management, thus the CONFIGURATION status changes to In Sync on the Manager View | Home > Firewalls > Inventory page.
