Resolving a Variable by Export/Import

Resolve variables allow you to export and import the variables that are displayed in the list. The variables can be exported as a .CSV file and can be imported from a .CSV file.

To Resolve Variables

  1. Navigate to Manager View | Home > Global Objects > Variables page.

  2. Click the Ellipses icon in the ACTION column of the variable you want to resolve and click Resolve Variable.

    You can sort the Tenant column or Search for the tenant or device you need.

  3. Click the Export/Import icon.

  4. Enter a file name in the Export File Name field.
  5. Click the Export icon.
  6. Update the exported CSV file.

  7. Select File and upload the updated CSV file in previous step.

    Review the resolved variables.

  8. Click Save.
  9. Click Refresh icon to refresh the list.
