Changing Device Group

To move a device to another group

  1. Navigate to Manager View | Home > Firewalls > Groups page.

  2. Click the Ellipses icon in the ACTION column of the group you want to move to another group, select Change Device Group.

  3. Choose the Destination Group where you want to move the devices.

  4. Select the devices from the Source Group Devices list and click the right-caret icon to move the devices to the Destination Group Devices list.

  5. Click Save.
  6. Enable or disable Auto Commit & Deploy Templates in the Migrate Devices pop-up window as needed.
  7. Click Save.

When you move a device to a group that already has a template applied, the template configuration is made available to the newly added device. Commit and deploy the updates to apply the configuration to the device.
