Getting started with SAMI

The SonicWall AI for Monitoring & Insight (SAMI) is available and can be accessed only through the SonicWall Unified Management. Currently, SAMI is available only for SPP (Service Provider Program) partners. You can use the trial version of SAMI Essentials.

Prerequisite

  • Ensure you have access to SonicWall Unified Management

  • You have joined the SonicWall’s Service Providers Program (SPP) program.

To activate the trail do the following:

  1. Log in to SonicWall Unified Management.

  2. Under Dashboard go to Admin Settings > Free Trial.

  3. In SAMI Essentials click Try Now.

  4. Select a tenant.

    The trial service activation message is displayed.

The SAMI appears at the bottom in the left-navigation panel in SonicWall Unified Management.

Once you are logged in to SonicWall Unified Management, you can launch SAMI without having to re-enter the credentials.

Using SAMI you can ask queries or complete tasks by chatting with SAMI, like using instant messaging. SAMI can understand and respond to multi-turn conversations , remember information from past two interactions to keep track of the conversation, and use different data sources to give complete answers.

A free trial of SAMI can be activated for a single tenant within an organization. Once you activate a SAMI instance on this tenant, it provides access to the entire organization.

    The free trial allows you to run up to 100 queries for 60 days. Once you reach this limit, the trial cannot be extended. Anytime during the free trial or after expiration of the same, you can contact the SonicWall sales team regarding a monthly subscription.
