SAMI Feature Guide

Establishing the Tenant Environment

SonicWall AI for Monitoring & Insight (SAMI) can be used for managing tasks within Unified Management, which encompasses various distinct environments referred to as tenants.

  1. Log into Unified Management.
  2. Select the required tenant from the Scope Selector drop-down list.

  3. In the left-navigation panel, click SAMI.

    You can start to interact with SAMI. See Interacting with SAMI: A Conversational Approach to Information Retrieval and Actions and SAMI Query Examples for Effective Interaction.

    You can also select the required tenant from the Scope Selector drop-down in SAMI.

Changing the Tenant

To change the tenant and obtain information, do the following

  1. Select the required tenant from the Scope Selector drop-down list.

  2. When prompted, click OK to end the current conversation and start a new conversation with the newly selected tenant.

    If the chat does not automatically restart with the new tenant, it is recommended to manually refresh the browser page.

    SAMI starts a new conversation.

  3. Enter your query in the text box to access the information in the context of the selected tenant.

    SAMI interprets the query and delivers the relevant response.
