It is useful for SonicWall Unified Management operators or administrators who work for Managed Service Providers (MSPs). These professionals are responsible for overseeing the IT, networking, and security needs of multiple end customers. The primary function of SAMI is to facilitate these operators or administrators by providing them with instant answers and helping them perform various tasks without the need to directly log into their Firewall applications. This is especially beneficial for quick checks or updates on the network and security status of the organizations they manage.

SAMI operates using the following innovative methods:

  • Access and Interaction SAMI provides a user-friendly experience that allows easy access without requiring users to log in each time. When launched, it automatically utilizes the current settings from SonicWall Unified Management. Users interact through a chat-like interface, and the system customizes responses based on individual permissions. Additional features include the ability to regenerate responses, copy to the clipboard, and visual cues to enhance interaction. Response streaming improves conversations by letting users receive information instantly while they interact with the system. This creates a more dynamic and engaging experience.
  • Conversational Firewall Operations is a system for managing and monitoring firewalls in a specific area.
