Using NSM Migration Application
Use the following table to determine migration compatibility when moving from SonicOS 6/7 to SonicOS 8 using Network Security Manager (NSM).
The migration application available in NSM 3.1 or later, is integrated within the platform to facilitate seamless migration of configuration settings. The NSM migration application allows administrators to migrate supported configurations without disabling features on the source firewall. Initial support is provided for SonicOS 8 TZ and NSa models, as listed below.
