The Lightweight Hotspot Messaging (LHM) user is redirected to the Authentication Back End, but gets the error "HTTP Error 404 File or directory not found. Internet Information Services (IIS)".
Overview
HTTP Error 404 means that the client was able to communicate with the server, but the page requested could not be found, or the server isn’t configured to fulfill the request.
Resolution or Workaround
1. Check the ‘Web Server’ configured on the General tab, and the ‘Login Page’ configured on the Auth Pages tab. Make sure the page is accessible.
2. Even though the C:WINDOWSMicrosoft.NETFrameworkv1.1.4322… folder exists, ASP .NET may not be installed. Install ASP .NET using Add/Remove Windows components, then restart the server.
