General

Hover over the SonicWave row and click on Configure icon that is displayed on the right side of the row to display the Configuration screen. The General tab is displayed by default.

  1. In the System section you can configure the following.
    1. Name.
    2. Description.
    3. Route Modes: There are two different Route Modes available for configuration.
      1. Bridge Mode, for more information refer to Bridge Mode.
      2. NAT Mode, for more information refer to NAT Mode.
    4. Tags.
    5. SNMP Engine ID.
  2. IP Address can be configured only in NAT Mode.
  3. In the Management section you can set the Admin User Name and Password.
  4. In the SSID Group section we can override the SSID settings of the Access Point. By default SSID settings are inherited from the AP Policy, if you choose another SSID Group from the list then Access Point will use the settings from the selected SSID Group.
    To view the inherited policy, hover over the tool tip of SSID Group label.
