Password Complexity

To set the Access Point Password Complexity

1. Navigate to the Settings > General page.
2. In the Access Point Password Complexity section, toggle ON the Enable password complexity option, then a warning message with details on all the places where the password rules are applicable is displayed.

   

3. Click OK to proceed.
4. Set the following options.

   

   1. Minimum password length.
   2. Minimum number of uppercase letters (A-Z).
   3. Minimum number of lowercase letters (a-z).
   4. Minimum number of digits (0-9).
   5. Minimum number of symbolic characters: Allowed symbolic characters !@#$%^&*()_-+=[]{};:'",.<>?/\|`~.

   The total minimum required length for uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters should not exceed 32 characters.

5. Click Save to save the password complexity settings.
