SonicPoint support for Japan
SonicOS 188.8.131.52 supports SonicPoint ACe, ACi, and N2 wireles access points or deployment Japan.
International SonicPoint support
SonicOS 184.108.40.206 supports international SonicPoint ACe, ACi, and N2 wireless access points. An international SonicPoint is one that is deployed and operating in a country other than the United States or Japan.
When an international SonicPoint is connected to a SonicWall network security appliance, SonicOS displays a Register button on the SonicPoint > SonicPoints page. Clicking Register brings up a dialog box in which you can select the appropriate Country Code.
Note: Be sure to select the country code for the country in which the SonicPoint will be deployed, even if you are not in that country while registering the SonicPoint.
For international SonicPoints registered with country codes other than Canada, the country code can be changed in the SonicPoint profile on the SonicPoint > SonicPoints page.
IMPORTANT: Once the SonicPoint is registered with the country code for Canada, the country code cannot be changed except by contacting SonicWall Support.

Sonicpoint is showing as unregistered under SonicPoints page.
After upgrading to Firmware 18.104.22.168-39o wherein a new SonicPoint AC was already configured a popup window will appear when navigating to Sonicpoint page, see below the screenshot:
Click on the agree button button and then from the select the SonicPoint which is showing its status as "unregistered" from SonicPoint | SonicPoints page and Click on the Register button, which will bring up a dialog box to select the country where the Sonicpoint is located. Allow the SonicPoint to reboot and after reboot it status should be operational.
