New version of Kaspersky AV agent for Windows 10 Anniversary Edition (Version 1607, OS Build 14393)

The current version of the Kaspersky AV agent of the SonicWALL Enforced Client (v1.14.10) is not supported on the latest Windows 10 Anniversary Edition (Version 1607, OS Build 14393).
The issue affects both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of the OS and is manifested when:
- a PC with SEC installed is upgraded to the Windows 10 Anniversary Edition
- a fresh installation of SEC is done in a PC with Windows 10 Anniversary Edition already installed, either upgraded via Windows Update or by a fresh installation.
In either of the above, in 64 bit versions, the issue is indicated by the message, "One or more of the realtime scanners has been disabled" on the SEC Dashboard. Clicking on the Details button will display the following:
On the other hand, in 32 bit versions of the OS, the issue manifests itself by a BSOD Stop error when SEC is launched during Startup.
In the above scenario, after a reboot, the issue will recur whenever SEC is launched at Startup. To stop the PC from rebooting, boot into Safe Mode and disable SEC from Startup.
To address these issues, SonicWall is releasing a new version (v2.0.2) of the Kaspersky agent. The new version will be pushed via EPRS policy to all clients. If an upgrade to the Anniversary Edition is scheduled, it is highly recommended that it be done after updating the AV agent to v2.0.2.
To push this version you need to log into your EPRS. This can be accessed from Security Services > Client AV Enforcement and clicking the link to manager Kaspersky AV Settings.
This will open a new window for the EPRS. Within EPRS we will need to create a new policy. This is done by clicking on policies.
Then we need to add a new policy which brings up the New Policy Window. You will need to name your new policy. Then click on the Kaspersky AV Tab. Under Agent Version select Latest Release. Then click OK.
Then we need to click on Client Groups. And then click Add New Client Group. Then you will need to name this group, and then select your Policy that you created on the previous step. Then click OK.
Finally we will need to put all the clients in the new Client Group. This is done by clicking on Clients. This will present you a list of clients. You can edit each client individually or you can select all of your Windows Clients and click Move Clients.
This will bring up a window where you select your Client Group. Select the group created previously and then click OK.
This will enabled the update to be available for these clients, they will update on their own. Or you can open each one individually and click on Update to complete the process.
As mentioned above, in 32 bit versions of the OS, user must boot into Safe Mode and disable SEC from Startup to stop the BSOD Stop errors. On availability of the new version of the AV agent, user may manually launch SEC or re-enable SEC to launch during Startup. This will launch the upgrade process.
In the event the upgrade process does not start or complete, it is recommended that SEC is uninstalled and standard client installation is followed. Please refer the following KB articles for the installation process:
NOTE: For SEC installation, only Internal Explorer 6 or higher is supported. Microsoft Edge is currently not supported for installation, as is the case with other browsers like Chrome etc.
