“License error” on Aventail Virtual appliance AMC.
Snippet of the error message:
-This error occur when virtual appliance not able to contact “software.sonicwall.com” for license synchronization. -Aventail virtual appliance will contact license manager at every 24 hrs. -For Aventail Physical appliances we need to import license file manually on the appliance and will not contact license manager for license synchronization. -Also need to make sure need to allow outbound traffic for HTTPS(443) service is allowed for “software.sonicwall.com”
To verify license synchronization process on the appliance:
And debug level logs can be verified in logserver_text.log , and logserver_text.log debug level can be enabled from AMC also under log> configure by appending URL with ?troubleshoot=1.
