Description
EX SSL-VPN: Unable to customize CT since INI will be deleted automatically after Connect Tunnel installation from Workplace on version-10.5.x and 10.0.x
Resolution
Question:
Customers are unable to customize connect tunnel client when they install tunnel from workplace. Once the connect tunnel installation is complete from workplace ngsetup.ini file will be deleted automatically.
Older versions it never used to delete ngsetup.ini file, so using that customer were able to customize their login goups, VPN names and auth as per customes requirement.
***************Here is the snippet of ngsetup.ini**************it is captured as soon see the ngsetup.ini file while instaling connect tunnel.
C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataAventailngsetup.ini
Customer could use this INI until this fixed. This will be addressed in version-10.5.3

This file will be deleted once Connect Tunnel client installation is completed from workplace
Resolution/Workaround:
SonicWall Aventail engineering will be addressed this issue in ver-10.5.3. Due to security reason it INI file removed after sucessfull installation of connect tunnel.
How to Test:
Repro Steps
===========
- Login to portal
- Click on Connect tunnel client to install from the portal
- Go to C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication Data
- As soon start installation go to Aventail folder
- Keep refresh the folder and we could see that ngsetup.ini file
- Once Connect Tunnel installation is completed INI file will be removed automatically.
