EX SSL-VPN: How to login as Technician with Virtual assist Standalone client to the appliance
Virtual Assist service will be responded only from the external eth1 interface of the aventail (if deployed in two interface mode). Technician login using the internal interface is being worked on by SonicWall as an additional feature and it is scoped tentatively for availability in one of the upcoming firmware releases.
As a Technician using Virtual Assist Standalone client, we need to login with the domain Field as LocalDomain and then use the locally created administrator or Helpdesk accounts on the appliance as shown below:-
To login as Technician, we need to have an account with one of the following administrator roles - Primary Admin, Super Admin or Helpdesk Technician. Primary admin can create these technician usable accounts in the AMC - General Settings - Manage Administrator Account page.
