How to transfer Capture Client from one MySonicWall.com account to another?

Description

This article explains on how to transfer Capture Client from one MySonicWall.com account to another. You must contact Customer Service with your request to transfer the capture client from one Account to another

Resolution

The Capture Client serial number cannot be transferred from one MySonicWall.com account to another.

If the Transfer request is because

  1.        The Capture Client is registered to a customer and has been sold out to another customer AND/OR
  2.        The Capture Client is registered to a reseller and needs to be moved to end customer’s Account AND/OR
  3.        The Capture Client is registered to a reseller and needs to be moved to another reseller

NOTE: If the Capture Client is to be moved from one organization to another, please submit a customer service case with the Proof of purchase for the Capture Client Key.Once we receive the valid proof of purchase, we will generate a new Capture Client Serial number on the new mysonicwall.com account



Please note:

  1.        The Same Capture Client Serial number cannot be moved to the new account
  2.        The Endpoints from the existing Capture Client must be removed
  3.        The Setup and configuration on the New Capture Client must be done from scratch.
