Are there any specific program requirements?

Yes, partners must have an established NOC or SOC for providing managed security services and transparent end-customer transactional POS reporting.

Are there any additional technical support tiers available?

Yes, the Powered Plus and Platinum tiers provide access to Tier 2 Premier Technical Support and a dedicated Services Account Manager (SAM).

Existing Service Provider Partners

What is the process for handling Level 1 Technical Support calls on behalf of SonicWall?

Partners in the Provider Program must be able to handle Level 1 Technical Support calls with a minimum of 8x5 coverage as part of the Contract Service Management.

What are MDF and ‘accrued MDF’ at the Powered Plus tier?

Marketing Development Funds (MDF) and accrued MDF at the Powered Plus tier offers additional financial support and opportunities for co-selling and co-marketing your services.

MDF Funds support SonicWall/Partner Demand generation activities. For 2024 it will be enhanced with a simpler process, improved tools and capabilities, strategic partnerships, with added Vendor support.

Now you will have the opportunity to utilize both proposals based MDF with increased investment as well as Guaranteed MDF on approved sales and marketing activities.

As the Service Provider option is an overlay to the SecureFirst Program it would associate with which tier you qualify. For example, Velocity Silver Protect Partners earn 1% based on proposal based MDF requests, Mastery Gold Powered Partners earn 2% accrued MDF; and Mastery Platinum Protect + earn 3% accrued MDF. We want to support you in growing your business as our partnership grows.
