Upstream/Downstream RA Prefix Delegation (Optional)

In this enhancement, firewall selects an appropriate IPv6 prefix learned from upstream RAs and assigns IPv6 addresses to downstream interfaces accordingly.

  1. Navigate to Network > System > Interfaces > Interfaces Settings.

  2. On the Interfaces Settings tab, click on IPv6

  3. Hover over the X1 WAN interface that you want to configure and click the Edit icon. The Edit Interface dialog box is displayed.

  4. Click on the Advanced tab.

  5. Enable the toggles Enable Listening to Router Advertisement (RA) and Enable RA Delegation Upstream.

  6. Select the RA Delegation Downstream Interfaces from the drop-down.

  7. Click OK, to save the settings.
