Configuring v6Plus

v6Plus (Full internet services on v6 internet) is a static IPv4 service from JPIX (Japan Internet Xing Co., Ltd.). It runs on NTT (Nippon Telegraph and Telephone) native IPv6 Ethernet. The service assigns a fixed IPv4 address by tunneling IPv4 traffic over IPv6/IPoE. Unlike traditional PPPoE or legacy IPv4, which can be subject to session limits, bandwidth constraints, or PPPoE bottlenecks, v6Plus reduces protocol overhead and improves efficiency. As a result, v6Plus offers higher throughput, lower latency, and more stable performance. This setup ensures compatibility with IPv4 applications while utilizing the scalability and robustness of modern IPv6.
