Upgrading to NSM 3.2.1

This chapter describes how existing NSM 3.2.0 customers can upgrade to the NSM 3.2.1 version.

Upgrade to NSM 3.2.1 is performed using a platform specific SIG file.

To upgrade NSM On-Premises using SIG file

1. Login to the NSM On-Premises UI using the IPV4 address, username and password.

2. Navigate to the System | Settings > Firmware and Settings.

3. Click Upload Firmware.

4. Click Choose File and select the platform specific NSM On-Premises sig file.

   

5. Click Accept.

   This process uploads and validates the SIG file and system reboots after that.

You can also upgrade to NSM 3.2.1 by downloading the firmware from NSM GUI.

To upgrade NSM On-Premises directly from GUI

1. Login to the NSM On-Premises UI using the IPV4 address, username and password.

2. Navigate to the System | Settings > Firmware and Settings.

3. Click Download Firmware.

4. Choose Channel from the drop-down and click Check for Update.

   

5. Select the File to be installed from the list.

6. Click Download.

7. The file appears as Uploaded Firmware in the list.

   

8. Click on the power button under ACTIONS for the Uploaded Firmware row.
