Upgrading to NSM 3.2.0
This chapter describes how an existing NSM customers can upgrade to the latest NSM 3.2.0 version.
Since direct firmware upgrade is not supported for NSM 3.2.0 version, a fresh installation is mandatory. The data from previous version can be migrated to the latest version.
On a high level, the upgrade process follows the below steps:

A fresh VM installation of NSM 3.2.0.

Data from previous instances must be exported from the old NSM version and then imported into the new NSM version.

The Serial Number (& other registration information) of the old NSM version must be carried forward to the new NSM version.
It is recommended to use the same IP address for NSM 3.2.0 as used for NSM 3.1.1 HF1.
For Distributed Deployment of NSM, follow the upgrade steps first for controller as per the platform and then for Agents refer to Upgrade NSM Agents in Distributed Deployment.
For NSM installed in HA mode, first upgrade the primary node, then install the secondary node and then form HA.
