Installating Network Security Manager

This chapter provides a detail description of the installation process of NSM on various platforms.

To install NSM 3.2.0, it is mandatory to have two hard disks.

• The System Disk in which the firmware is installed.

• The Data Disk in which the runtime data is stored.

The detailed process of installation is described platform wise.

 

• Installing NSM on HyperV

• Installing NSM on Azure

A third optional External disk can be added. This External Disk can be used to store backups and Analytics Data unlike earlier versions where the second disk was used for backup and for Analytics data.
