Manage License Reports Licensing is out of Sync

Description

"Manage License" Reports "Licensing is out of sync. Please reboot your product and repeat the operation." After a reboot the situation is unchanged.

Resolution

To resolve this issue make sure to have your MySonicwall login for this Email Security handy.

  1. Have the serial number and the auth code to the Email Security.
  2. Now navigate to the Manage | System Setup | Server | Advanced page and at the bottom of the page there is a button to Reset Licenses.

  1. Click Reset Licenses
  2. There will be warning message that all licenses will be deleted, click OK.
  3. Now go back to the License Manager page and re-register this email security.
