How to fix packets dropped due to Multicast IGMP state not found

Description

In this article you will learn how you can fix packets dropped due to Drop Code: 166(Multicast IGMP state not found).

First thing you will have to do is enable Multicast. 

  • Navigate  to Firewall Settings, and then select Multicast.

In the new menu you have to do the following:

  • toggle Enable Multicast
  • have "Require IGMP Membership reports for multicast data forwarding" disabled
  • toggle "Enable reception of all multicast addresses"
