How to activate Hosted Email Security license Key?

This article will provide step by step process on how to activate renewal Key on an Existing Hosted Email Security Serial Number or generate a new Standalone (New Instance) HES Unit

The process to activate or Renew Existing Hosted Email Security License. 

1. Log in to WWW.MySonicWall.com
2. Navigate to Product Management and My Products.
   
3. Click on the Hosted Email Security Serial number on which the key should be applied,
4. Navigate to Licenses.
   
5. Click the Key icon to the right of the service you are trying to activate. 
6. Enter the 8-digit Activation Key in the pop-up window and click Confirm.
   
   NOTE: For node-based subscriptions (client or user count-based services) or Email Security services users are presented with two options Renewal (default) and Upgrade (add licenses). If adding new services please select Upgrade (which increases node count).
   Complete: Your activation key should now be successfully applied and your service should show activated.

The process to activate Hosted Email Security Service key as a standalone (New Instance)

1. Go to My Workspace and select Register Products. Chose a tenant for the HES.
   
   NOTE: The Tenant should not have any existing Hosted Email Security Serial Number.
2. Enter the Activation key and the Friendly name. And Chose the Management options
   
3. Enter the details of for the HES (Eg: DataCentre, Domain Name, Inbound mail Server Host/IP Address, etc)
4. A pop up to reverify your input details will appear. Verify the details and click Yes.
   
   This will generate a New Hosted Email Security Serial number under the selected Tenant.
