How can I reset the MySonicWALL account password when invalid Captcha error is displayed

Description

  Your MySonicWALL account is used to register and manage SonicWall products and services. This article provides instructions for resetting a forgotten password for a MySonicWALL account, also how to proceed with updating the password if prompted with the error Invalid Captcha

  1. Go to mysonicwall.com
  2. Enter your username or email address and then select the "forgot password?" link

  3. Enter the username or email address Check the box next to the reCAPTCHA and click on Next

     4.  A reset password link will be sent to the registered email address click on Reset password

        NOTE: Check spam junk folders and email servers if the email has not been received

   5. The link will direct to the page for updating the password Check the box next to the reCAPTCHA and click on Next

  NOTE: Password policy is to create a password with a Minimum of 8 characters in length, containing either one - minimum 2 lowercase letters, 2 uppercase letters, 1 symbol, 2 numbers.

   6.  In the process of updating the password if the time exceeds 5 minutes, the error Invalid Captcha will be prompted. Click refresh on the browser and proceed with the password update

   7. Once the password is updated the below pop-up will appear to show your password has been reset
