Error "Invalid Domain" when logging into the Application Interface

Resolution

Overview

The error "Invalid Domain.  Please specify a valid Domain Name." may occur when trying to log in to the Application Interface if the Web Server service loses connection to the Database service.

Resolution or Workaround

1.     Login to the System Interface (login at /appliance)

 

2.     Navigate to Deployment>Services.

 

3.     Restart all services.
