2FA authentication error using TOTP "Please try again later"

Description

 
TOTP error, after generating the QR code an error (Please try again) message appears, and the users cannot log in.

Resolution for SonicOS 7.X

This release includes significant user interface changes and many new features that are different from the SonicOS 6.5 and earlier firmware. The below resolution is for customers using SonicOS 7.X firmware.

  1.  Navigate to Device|Settings|Time.
  2. Under Set Time, enable Set time automatically using NTP.
  3. Click accept, and re-scan the QR code, and type the new 2FA code.

Resolution for SonicOS 6.5

This release includes significant user interface changes and many new features that are different from the SonicOS 6.2 and earlier firmware. The below resolution is for customers using SonicOS 6.5 firmware.

  1.  Navigate to MANAGE|Appliance|System Time.
  2. Under System time, enable Set time automatically using NTP. 
  3. Click accept, and re-scan the QR code, and type the new 2FA code.
