Installating Network Security Manager
This chapter provides a detail description of the installation process of NSM on various platforms.
To install NSM 3.2.0, it is mandatory to have two hard disks.

The System Disk in which the firmware is installed.

The NSM Data Disk in which the runtime data is stored.
The detailed process of installation is described platform wise.
A third optional external disk called the Reporting and Analytics disk can be added. This Reporting and Analytics disk can be used to store backups and Analytics Data unlike earlier versions where the second disk was used for backup and for Analytics data. How to add a third external disk is provided platform wise under Reporting and Analytics Disk.
