Configuring a Manual IPv6 Tunnel

To configure the 6to4 tunnel on the firewall

1. Navigate to Network > System > Interfaces > Interfaces Settings.

2. On the Interfaces Settings page, click IPv6.

3. Click Add Interface and select Tunnel Interface. The Add Tunnel Interface dialog box is displayed.

4. Select the Zone for the tunnel interface.

5. In the Tunnel Type drop-down menu, select IPv6 Manual Tunnel Interface.

6. Enter a Name for the tunnel interface.

7. Enter an address in the Tunnel Interface IPv6 Address field. The field starts with :: already.

8. In the Bound to drop-down menu, select an interface that you want to bound with tunnel.

9. In the Remote IPv4 Address drop-down menu, select an IPv4 address object for the tunnel endpoint.

10. In the Remote IPv6 Address drop-down menu, select an IPv6 Address object, which can be a group, range, network, or host.

11. Optionally, you can configure one or more Management login protocols: HTTPS, Ping, or SNMP.

    Selecting HTTPS enables the Add rule to enable redirect from HTTP to HTTPS option automatically. This option cannot be selected for the other protocols.

12. Optionally, you can configure either or both User Login protocols: HTTP or HTTPS.

    Selecting HTTPS enables the Add rule to enable redirect from HTTP to HTTPS option automatically.

13. Click OK.
