Discontinued Features

Discontinued features in SMA1000 12.5.0 onwards are:

• RSA Authentication Manager (Legacy): The RSA Authentication Manager (Legacy) used the "C-based SDK RSA API," which has been discontinued and is no longer supported. The new RSA Authentication Manager authentication server uses the new "REST API-based RSA SDK." SMA 12.5.0 supports RSA Authentication Manager.

• Legacy authentication API based on LPRPC/Apache: Users are required to utilize the most recent Connect Tunnel (CT) and Mobile Connect (MC) clients for connections to version 12.5.0.

  The minimum requirements are:

• Connect Tunnel on all platforms must be 12.4.2 or higher
• Mobile Connect:
  • Android version 5.0.21 or higher
  • iOS version 5.0.17 or higher
  • macOS version 5.0.13 or higher

When upgrading the SMA version with discontinued features, it is mandatory to remove the existing configuration and then proceed with the upgrade.
