Installating Network Security Manager
This chapter provides a detail description of the installation process of NSM on various platforms.
To install NSM 3.2.0 and above, it is mandatory to have two hard disks.

The System Disk in which the firmware is installed.

The NSM Data Disk in which the runtime data is stored.
The NSM Data Disk can be expanded anytime by directly changing the disk sizes and restarting the virtual machines.
The detailed process of installation is described platform wise.
A third optional external disk called the Reporting Data Disk can be added. This Reporting Data Disk can be used to store backups and Analytics Data unlike earlier versions where the second disk was used for backup and for Analytics data.
