Supported Platforms

The Migration Tool supports migration from the following source platforms to a target SonicWall firewall. Ensure both your source platform and target model are listed below before proceeding.

	SonicOS 6 and SonicOS 7: TZ, NSA, SuperMassive, NSsp, NSv Series	SonicWall SonicOS 7

1. When migrating from SonicWall SonicOS 5 / 6 to the SonicOS 7 firewall, install the latest supported release of SonicOS which is available on the MySonicWall before importing the converted settings file.
2. NSsp 15700 and NSv models running in Policy Mode are not supported as migration sources.
3. SonicWall SonicOS 5 firewall to SonicOS 7 firewall migration supports SOHO devices only.
4. Certificates and Licenses migration are not migrated.
