SMA1000: Upon clicking on Security Administration- Access control- show up an error java.lang.NullPointerException post upgrade to 12.5.0
Description
Upon clicking on AMC-Security Administration->Access control List- it shows java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke "com.aventail.mgmt.rest.console.resources.ResourceInfo.getManaged()" because "resource" is Environment Details.
Freshly deployed SMA 8200 from OVA version 12.4.3-02401 on VMware. This issue is due to "network share resources containing policy variables cause exceptions."
Cause
When clicking on Security Administration->Access control throws java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke "com.aventail.mgmt.rest.console.resources.ResourceInfo.getManaged()" because "resource" is Environment Details.
Resolution
This issue has been officially resolved in the upcoming 12.5.0 December hotfixes. Please contact Technical support if you're looking for a Developer-hotfix as an Interim fix.
