Resolution

The resolution is to change the HTTP port. There are two ways to perform this change: via the GUI method or the CLI method. Either approach can be used based on preference.

GUI Method

  1. Log in locally to the firewall
  2. Navigate to:
    Settings → Administration → Management
  3. Locate the HTTP Port setting
  4. Change the port to one of the following:
    • 10800
    • 8001
    • 8002
  5. Apply the changes and allow the device to reconnect to NSM

After updating the port, the firewall should:

  • Successfully reconnect to NSM
  • Sync configuration properly
  • Show Online status

CLI Method
