The SonicWall Secure Switches are available in 7 models. It is offered as 8/24/48-port and full-Power over Ethernet (full-PoE)/PoE/non-PoE variants. The switch models that include POE in their model name support Power Over Ethernet feature.

The SWS12-8 model name means it has 2 SFP ports and 8 Ethernet Ports. The same naming convention applies to the rest of the model as well.
