Patrick O’Donnell

Patrick is the Chief Revenue Officer at SonicWall. Based in New York, he is an accomplished, seasoned technology leader with over 30 years of global experience leading sales, marketing and go-to-market functions at some of the world’s leading technology and cybersecurity companies. Before joining SonicWall, Patrick was Senior Vice President of the Americas for Barracuda Networks with responsibility for the United States, Canada and Latin America. Patrick began his career at IBM as an Account Executive in aerospace and manufacturing. His tenure there progressed steadily to ever-increasing senior management roles in sales and marketing, including long-term international assignments in Asia Pacific in both Japan and China. Patrick has also held global leadership roles at General Electric and Datto. 

Patrick has an undergraduate degree in business and economics from Marist College and an MBA from Vanderbilt University.

Since high school and college, Patrick has been an active supporter, volunteer and advocate of humanitarian causes, and served six years as a member of the Board of Governors of the American Red Cross in Washington, DC, and more recently as Board Chair of the Connecticut Chapter of the American Red Cross for eight consecutive years from 2012 to 2020.

Patrick and his family enjoy travel, especially spending time in Ireland where he and his wife and children are dual citizens.
