The licensing model is described as below:
Gen 6 and Gen 7 Devices
Existing Gen 7 NSM Essential License or NSM Advanced License bundles are not available for new purchase or renewal. You need to choose from the Gen 7 new licensing model added in Gen 7 and Gen 8 Devices table.
No immediate change for existing devices managed in NSM with licensed with NSM Essential License or NSM Advanced License.
Gen 6 device has to be licensed with NSM Essential License or NSM Advanced License to be able to be managed by NSM.
