Capture Client Monitoring and Reporting for Unified Management

Schedule Reports

Capture Client enables administrators to configure automated reports that are delivered at regular intervals for the Capture Client deployment on the network. Scheduled reports help administrators to review the health and threat status periodically.

To add a scheduled report

  1. Navigate to SonicWall Unified Management > Capture Client > Reports.
  2. Select the Schedule Reports tab.
  3. Click the Add icon (+).

  4. Type the Name of the report in the field provided.
  5. Select the File Format.
  6. Set the Report Frequency:
    1. Select the interval from the drop-down list (Daily, Weekly, Monthly).
    2. Set the time for the report to run.
  7. In the Recipients section, you can select an administrator or type an email address for a new recipient, and then click Add.
  8. For the Threats section:
    1. Choose one of the following from the drop down list:
      • Do not include
      • General Overview
      • Detailed Information
    2. If you select General Overview, select whether to Include threat history, Include list of unresolved threats, both or none.
  9. For the Capture ATP Events section:
    1. Choose one of the following from the drop-down list:
      • Do not include
      • General Overview
    2. If you select General Overview, select whether to Include historical statistics, Include list of ATP detections, both or none.
  10. For the Devices section:
    1. Choose one of the following from the drop-down list:
      • Do not include
      • General Overview
    2. If you select General Overview, select whether to Include historical statistics, Include full list of devices, both, or none.
  11. For the Activities section, choose one of the following from drop-down list:
    • Do not include
    • Threat-related activities
    • All activities
  12. For the Web Protection section, choose one of the following from drop-down list:
    • Do not include
    • General Overview
    • Detailed Information
  13. For the Applications section:
    1. Choose one of the following from the drop-down list:
      • Do not include
      • General Overview
    2. If you select General Overview, select whether to Include list of vulnerable applications, Include list of devices with vulnerabilities, both, or none.
  14. For the Tenants section, choose one of the following from drop-down list:
    • Do not include
    • General Overview
  15. Click Save.

Other functionalities on this page include:

  • Filter - To filter the scheduled reports, click the filter icon and select the check the boxes for the required fields.
  • Search - To search any scheduled reports using any keyword, click search icon .

  • Edit - To edit any scheduled report, hover on the scheduled report to edit and click edit icon .

  • Delete - To delete any scheduled report, hover on the scheduled report to edit and click delete icon .

  • Create example report - To create an example report for any scheduled report, hover on the scheduled report to create and click .
