Capture Client Monitoring and Reporting for Unified Management

Groups

Capture Client displays a list of the groups created under a tenant. The SonicWall Unified Management > Capture Client > Assets > Groups page helps to manage these groups.

Functionalities on this page include:

  • Filter - To filter the user list, click the filter icon and select the check the boxes for the required fields.
  • Search - To search any user using any keyword, click search icon .

  • Export - To export and download the user details to CSV file, click export icon .

  • Delete - You can delete a group or delete multiple groups.

    To delete a group under a tenant

    1. Navigate to Assets > Groups.

    2. Hover over the group you want to delete.

    3. Click the delete icon .

    To delete multiple groups

    1. Navigate to Assets > Groups.

    2. Select the groups you want to delete.

    3. Click the delete icon on the top right corner.

  • Add - To create a new group, click add icon .

    To create a new group under a tenant

    1. Navigate to Assets > Groups.

    2. Click add icon on the top right corner.

      1. In GROUP DETAILS page,

        • Enter the Group Name.

        • Select the Group Type.

        • Select the Group Category.

        • Click Next.

      2. In ADD DEVICES/RULES page,

        • Create or add existing rules or devices.

        • Click Next.

      3. In the SUMMARY page,

        • Review the details and click Confirm.

      4. In POLICY REVIEW page,

        • Click Take me to policies to navigate to .

        • Click Create new Group.

  • Edit - You can edit a group.

    To edit a group under a tenant

    1. Navigate to Assets > Groups.

    2. Hover over the group you want to delete.

    3. Click the edit icon .

    4. In the Edit Group page, edit the required details.

  • Refresh - To refresh data, click refresh icon .

  • Initiate Scan - To initiate a scan, hover over the group and click the initiate scan icon .
