Resizing NSv Virtual Machine

The process of resizing a NSv AWS virtual machine is summarized in the following steps

1. Log in to the AWS management console https://aws.amazon.com/console/.

2. On the Console Home page, navigate to All Services and select EC2.

   

3. Under Instances, click Instances.

   It displays all the running/poweroff instances.

4. Select the instance, and then click Instance state > Stop instance.

   

5. After the instance is stopped, click Actions > Instance settings > Change instance type.

   

6. In the New Instance type search box, search for the instance type and select Change instance type to:.

   

Resizing of NSv is only required if user already has an existing NSv running on previous instance sizes. For new deployments, user can select the required instance size from AWS marketplace directly.
