Port Scans are not detected therefore do not show up in Log Alerts on the firewall.
This bug has been revealed after updating from the 5.8.1.X firmware to the 5.9.1.X firmware, as well as 6.2.5.x firmware on Gen 6 devices.
Update firmware to 5.9.1.8 or request hotfix 175910 from technical support.

2. By phone: please use our toll-free number at 1-888-793-2830. Please have your SonicWall serial number available to create a new support case.

This issue has been resolved in 5.9.1.8 firmware for Gen5 devices and 6.2.7.1 for Gen 6 devices.
