Enabling Distributed Deployment for a Controller
Enable the Distributed Deployment option when want to use the Controller in a distributed deployment setup. In distributed deployment setup, a single controller is used for management of multiple devices and individual reporting agents are used to store the reporting data of the each individual device.
Before enabling the Distributed Deployment, ensure that a valid On-Premises Reporting and Analytics license is provisioned on the firewall.
To enable Distributed Deployment for a Controller
- Navigate to the Manager View | Settings > Administration > Deployment Settings tab.

Enable Distributed Deployment.
Distributed Deployment ID displays on the screen. Use this ID while adding a Reporting Agent.
- Click Accept.
