Supported SonicWall Appliances

NetExtender Windows 10.2.x versions are currently the only fully supported firewall versions. Although NetExtender Windows 10.3.x versions are available, they are subject to limited support and may not be fully compatible with all supported firewall models. For more information, refer to NetExtender Windows Release Notes.

SonicWall appliances receive NX connections from remote clients. The following appliances are supported:

• SonicWall firewalls running SonicOS 8 and higher, including the following platforms: 

  • TZ80, TZ280, TZ280W, TZ280P, TZ380, TZ380W, TZ480, TZ580, TZ680, and NSa 2800, NSa 3800, NSa 4800, NSa 5800, NSa 6800 running SonicOS 8

• SonicWall firewalls running SonicOS 7 and higher, including the following platforms:
  • TZ270, TZ270W, TZ370, TZ370W, TZ470, and TZ470W running SonicOS 7
  • TZ570, TZ570W, TZZ570P, and TZ670 running SonicOS 7
  • NSa 2700, NSa 3700, NSa 4700, NSa 5700, and NSa 6700 running SonicOS 7
  • NSv 270, NSv 470, and NSv 870 running SonicOS 7
  • NSsp 10700, NSsp 11700, NSsp 13700, and NSsp 15700 running SonicOS 7
• SonicWall firewalls running SonicOS 6.5.5.1-6n and higher, including the TZ, NSa, SOHO, and SuperMassive (SM) series platforms:
  • TZ300, TZ300W, TZ300P, TZ350, TZ350W, TZ400, TZ400W, TZ500, TZ500W, TZ600, TZ600P
  • NSa 2600, NSa 3600, NSa 4600, NSa 5600, and NSa 6600
  • NSa 2650, NSa 3650, NSa 4650, NSa 5650, NSa 6650, NSa 9250, NSa 9450, and NSa 9650
  • SOHOW, SOHO250, and SOHO250W
  • SM9200, SM9250, SM9400, SM9450, SM9600, and SM9650
• SonicWall virtual firewalls running all releases of SonicOS 6.5.5.1-6n, including the following NSv series platforms:
  • NSv 10, 25, 50, 100, 200, 300, 400, 800, 1600
• SonicWall firewall running all releases of SonicOS 5.9.2.14-13o, including the following platform:
  • SOHO
