Converting Additional Data Disk from VHD to VHDX Format
To convert vhd file to vhdx file

Login to VMWare.

Right click on NSM 3.1.1 VM. Click Settings.
The VM should be in shutdown state.

Select the Hard Drive under SCSI Controller. Click Edit.

In the Edit Virtual Hard Disk wizard, Choose Action as Convert.

Click Next.

Choose the option VHDX.

Click Next.
-
Choose the option Fixed size.

Click Next.
-
Enter name and location for the VHDX file.

Click Next.
-
Review the details and click on Finish.

Wait for the edit operation to complete, this may take time based on the size of the disk.
